Congregational Finance Workshop

This training will support leaders in developing their congregational finance plans and ability to discuss investing in acting for the common good with congregations.

Through participating in this workshop and MVA's fundraising project, MVA members will support the financial sustainability of MVA and develop leaders with the skills to fund projects within your organizations.

Bob Connolly is the co-owner of The James Company, a fundraising consulting firm which has worked with congregations and non-profit organizations in 23 states. In the past 30 years, The James Company has served 1600 clients who have raised over $1 billion. Bob is a former IAF organizer who has worked in Pittsburgh, Harrisburg, Buffalo, and Madison, WI. Bob is now semi-retired and serves as a volunteer leader and organizer for Common Ground, the IAF affiliate in Milwaukee WI.

There will be a workshop preceding for non-profits and community organizations on How to Raise Money for Anything with Bob Connolly from 10:30am-12:30pm.  Through participating in this workshop and MVA's individual donor campaign launch, MVA members will support the financial sustainability of MVA and learn how to fund projects within your organizations. Please RSVP separately for the morning workshop.
