Municipal Election Assembly
We take action
On September 23, 2026, you are invited to experience the power of organized civil society. Join us as we put our hands, hearts, and minds to work for the future of our city.
Our vision? A different kind of politics, one where people from diverse beliefs, politics, and backgrounds belong together, working side by side on the things we have in common.
At the Municipal Election Assembly, we will celebrate the strength of our membership as we invite Vancouver’s next mayor to work with us for the common good.
Our agenda? Four proposals, emerging from the stories of our members, months of citizen-led research, a strategic commitment to winnable change, and the endorsement of our Delegates’ Assembly.
Mayoral candidates will join us on stage and be invited to make clear, public commitments to specific actions and a public accountable relationship with our Alliance.
The Municipal Election Assembly is a place for our organizations to step into the spotlight as leaders in our city. It’s about the power of our alignment across differences. It’s about building the city we want.
